Jmol version(Access to the Chime version has been removed)
|
The Jmol version depends entirely upon
the Jmol java applet to render its molecular views. In order for Jmol to
work properly, it requires a support program called a java virtual machine.
Computer operating systems (such as Windows, Mac OSX, and linux) generally
come with java included, but it may be an out of date version. It is
generally advisable to keep your java up to date, which can be done by
visiting java.com. Some
Windows computers have no java at all, until you visit
java.com.
